South Bend is a 3-year-old colt by Algorithms, out of Stakes Winner and Multiple Stakes Placed mare Sandra’s Rose by Old Trieste. South Bend broke his maiden at Churchill Downs on September 14, 2019 in his career debut. South Bend won at Keeneland in Allowance company on October 5th. In his Stakes debut at Churchill Downs on October 27th he remained unbeaten winning the Street Sense Stakes! In 2020 South Bend was 2nd in the Grade 3 Ohio Derby and 3rd in the Grade 3 Palm Beach Stakes. Sagamore Farm purchased South Bend at Ocala Breeders’ 2019 March 2 Year Old Sale.
