Graded Stakes Winner Recruiting Ready is a five-year-old colt trained by Stanley Hough. He broke his maiden impressively by 10 1/4 in his career debut on May 28, 2016 at Pimlico Race Course and was tabbed a TDN Rising Star. Recruiting Ready went on to place in the Grade 3 Bashford Manor and Grade 3 Iroquois Stakes. In 2017 the speedy colt won the Bachelor Stakes at Oaklawn Park and the Chick Lang Stakes at Pimlico. He placed third in the Grade 2 Woody Stephens. In December of 2018 Recruiting Ready won the Gravesend Stakes at Belmont Park. Recruiting Ready started 2019 with a game second in the off the turf Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint and achieved his Graded Stakes victory in the Grade 3 Gulfstream Park Sprint on March 2, 2019. Recruiting Ready was a half-length third to Catalina Cruiser in the June 7 True North (G2) at Belmont Park. Most recently Recruiting Ready won the Bet on Sunshine Stakes at Churchill Downs on November 2nd. Bringing his total wins to 9 and earnings to $800,000.
