First on Saturday at 2:00am, we welcomed another colt to Sagamore Farm. He is out of Daring Dancer by Uncle Mo. Shortly after, another filly was born on Sunday at 2:15am. She is out of Evening Sky by Ghostzapper.

Colt out of Daring Dancer by Uncle Mo:

In 2014, Daring Dancer won the G2 Lake George Stakes at Saratoga and was named Maryland-bred 3YO Champion Filly of the Year! This is her first foal, and she is already a great mom. Uncle Mo also sired another colt that was born at Sagamore Farm earlier this year, and he went undefeated in his 2YO season in 2010. He is a record breaking Champion Freshman sire in 2015.

Filly by Evening Sky out of Ghostzapper:

Evening Sky comes to Sagamore Farm from Japan and has a really nice Empire Maker yearling. Ghostzapper had an incredible racing career. During his 4YO racing career, he was named Eclipse Champion Horse of the Year and Champion Older Male. He won the Breeders’ Cup wire-to-wire in record speed.
