Glyndon, Md. – Sagamore Racing today announced a partnership with California-based Bloom Racing Stable for partial ownership of three-year-old colt, The Gomper, whose next scheduled outing will take place on Saturday, March 7 in the Grade 2 San Felipe Stakes at Santa Anita Park.

His hopeful journey to the Triple Crown begins this Saturday at Santa Anita,” said Jeff Bloom, Co-owner of Bloom Racing Stable. “Sagamore Racing and Bloom Racing Stable share the same passion and commitment for the sport, which comes at a critical time in our industry. Bloom Racing Stable has significant plans to grow our racing operations and we welcome expanding our relationship with Sagamore in the future.”

Trained by Ronald Ellis, The Gomper has a career record of 3-1-1-0 and $40,280 in total earnings to date. The Gomper broke his maiden with jockey Joe Talamo aboard at Los Alamitos in California on December 5, 2014.
