Sagamore Bred Sharing – Breeder’s Cup Contender!

Team Sagamore couldn’t be more proud or excited for Sharing (Shared Account – Speightstown) to run in the Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf! Sharing is the fourth foal of Breeders’ Cup winner Shared Account who raced for Sagamore Farm!

2YO Sharing was born at Sagamore Farm in Glyndon, Maryland on March 2, 2017. She was raised at Sagamore alongside eleven other fillies born at Sagamore in 2017 (no colts!). She attended the Maryland Horse Breeders Association Yearling Show in June of 2018 and did well in her large class. Sharing was prepped for the Fasig Tipton Saratoga Sale by Sagamore teammates, Debbie Moorefield and Jose Vega. Consigned by Upson Downs Farm, Sharing sold for $350,000 to Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners. We were thrilled to learn that Sharing would be trained by Graham Motion, right here in Maryland as Graham was dam Shared Account’s trainer! Shared Account was a MGSW for Graham Motion and Sagamore Farm, winning the Lake Placid (G2) at Saratoga in 2009 and the All Along (G3) at Colonial Downs before winning the Breeders Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1) in 2010 at Churchill Downs!
