Last year, 4YO filly Miss Temple City traveled across the pond to join some of the world’s best Thoroughbred horses at Royal Ascot. She finished strong, beaten by less than 2 lengths, and placed 4th in the Coronation Stakes. Now, she returns for the Duke of Cambridge Stakes on Wednesday, June 15. Post time is 10:40AM EST!
The Sagamore Racing team is thrilled to return to Royal Ascot, and as Trainer Graham Motion explained, “After Miss Temple City ran here last year, everyone wanted to come back and try again. She has been doing so well ever since, and is an even better filly this year.”
Graham is also cautious and explained the challenges we will face tomorrow, “Unfortunately, it has been raining for three days at the Ascot Racecourse, so Miss Temple City will be running on conditions we never had before.”
Miss Temple City is by Temple City out of Glittering Tax, and her overall record is 10-4-3-2. Watch the replay of her incredible last win at the Maker’s 46 Mile here.
